Dorothy and Toto Bookmark
Since I live in Kansas, I thought I would do an Oz series of Bookmarks. Here is the Dorothy and Toto for anyone who loves adventure. The pattern includes an option of Toto in a basket.
Create this darling thread crochet project to hang in a shadow box on any wall.
The crochet stitches include, sc, hdc, dc, tr and sl st and front loop and back loop work. The pattern includes description of abbreviations, complete instructions and pictural tutorial.
This is a fun and easy bookmark to make.
It uses small amounts of crochet thread and many colors can be used so it is a great project to use up small amounts of crochet thread (19 yards being the most that is needed).
Other materials Needed:1 skein of brown floss for hair
Small amount of polyester fiberfill
Tapestry needle
Washable fabric glue
small black bead for Toto’s eye.
Boye Steel Crochet hook size 1 (2.25mm). This is a larger size hook than usually used with thread crochet and makes working with thread crochet easier for those who are not comfortable with thread.
Contact information is on pattern if you have any problems, feedback or just want to show me how beautiful it looks.
