This slim-fitting boat-necked top is worked through in basic stocking stitch. The top has short raglan sleeves with double-rib welts and neckband. If you have one, you may find a circular needle useful for working the wide neckband. The beads can be sewn on afterwards to add glamour.

(NB - although it is described as a boat neck in the book, this top has a high, wide scoop neckline; not a square overlapped one.)
