Dorothy’s House
Inspired by the iconic house that ended the Wicked Witch of the East from the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz!
This pattern includes instructions for Dorothy’s House and the pair of witch’s legs only.
The pattern for Dorothy and Toto can be found in my Etsy and Ravelry stores. The pattern for the Glinda/Elphaba reversible witches is currently in its testing phase.
Using the recommended materials, the exterior of the house measures approximately 10cm x 6cm, and 8cm tall at the apex of the roof.
The interior space measures approximately 8.5 x 5cm, and 5.5cm deep.
Here are some of the materials you’ll need:
• 2.5mm hook
• 3.0mm hook
• Polyfil stuffing
• 50g DK weight cotton/acrylic blend yarn (11 WPI) in CREAM, DARK BROWN, WHITE, RED, BLACK
• Three 8x5cm pieces of cardboard ^
• Two 5x5cm pieces of cardboard ^
• One 11x6 piece of cardboard ^
• Pieces of DARK BROWN, CREAM and GRAY felt
• Hot glue gun
