Dortchen Filet Shawl
This shawl was my inspiration behind my Cocoon Shawl design on the Cover of Vintage Crochet, even down to the color! This uses the same filet crochet technique, joining construction method, and wonderfully beautiful yarn as the Cocoon Shawl. This is like version 1.0 and that one 2.0. The design on the back is different as well as the finished size. By joining the ends of the shawl together, the shawl cocoons around the arms making it easy to wear; which is definitely one of my new favorite ways to wear a shawl all the time now. The wonderful filet pattern keeps you entertained while zooming off your hook. Pattern is fully diagrammed and charted in filet.
