Inspired by 90’s patterns, the Dory Sweater incorporates the chevron stitch for some strikingly bold zig zag’s as it’s main body with contrasting linen stitch sleeves for a clash of pattern and texture.

It works up quickly with an easy repeat, smart reducing and even easier sleeve making. It is perfect for spring weather being made with any DK weight yarn. I list just a few of the ones I used, including King Cole’s Big Value DK and Stylecraft Special DK.

It is size inclusive and available in sizes XS to 6XL, though you may want to go up a size for if you want an oversized fit. So, it can be both fitted and oversized, depending on your preferences.

There are many opportunities throughout to customise the length of the sweater to suit your personal preference.

More information about the gauge is listed in the pattern.

Made using three sizes of crochet hook: 4mm, 5mm and 5.5mm.

The rough estimate of metres is included in the pictures as well as in the written pattern.

Ideal for stash busting projects too!
