Knit with the classic heel flap construction, from cuff to toe, these socks are a fun project featuring a lace and cable motif. If this is your first pair of socks, don’t worry: it’s much easier than it looks!
I recommend a solid color yarn or with sutile speckles, so the motif can stand out.
Knitting socks is always a little bit of a challenge, but the satisfaction you get from making socks that look beautiful and stay in place makes it absolutely worth it.

Finished measurements
To adjust to a foot circumference of aproximately 20 (22) 24 cm/ 7.5 (8.5) 9.5 in, considering a 10% negative ease.

Yarn
Aprox 300 (340) 370 m/ 328 (371) 404 y of sock weight yarn.
Sample was made with 87g of Opal Sock, 4 ply, 75% virgin wool and 25% polyamide, color Camel, 425 m in 100 gr.

Gauge
7 s x 9 rnd en 2 cm measured over stockinette stitch with 2mm/ US 0 needles after blocking.
6 s x 9 rnd in 2cm measured over stockinette stitch with 2.5mm/ US 1.5 needles after blocking.

Suggested needles
2mm/ US 0 circular or DPNs for sizes M and L. 2.5 mm/ US 1.5 circular or DPNs, for Size S (or size necessary to obtain gauge) with a long cable for magic loop or your chosen materials for knitting small circumferences.

Notions
Stitch markers, tapestry needle, cable needle, sock blockers (optional).

Knitting in the round, picking up stitches, knitting small circumferences, twisted german cast-on, knitting cables, knitting cable and lace charts, kitchener stitch.

Para determinar tu talla, mide la circunferencia de tu pie justo bajo el punto en que comienzan tus dedos.

Hilado
Aproximadamente 300 (340) 370 m de hilado grosor sock.
La muestra está tejida con 87 gr de Opal Sock, 4 ply, 75% lana virgen y 25% poliamida, color Camel, 425 m en 100 gr.

Muestra
7 p x 9 vlt en 2 cm. Medido sobre punto jersey tejido con agujas 2mm después de bloquear.
6 p x 10 vlt en 2cm. Medido sobre punto jersey tejido con agujas 2.5mm después de bloquear.

Agujas sugeridas
Agujas circulares o de doble punta de 2mm para Tallas M y L y 2.5mm para Talla S (o tamaño necesario para obtener muestra) con cable largo para hacer magic loop o tus materiales preferidos para tejer circunferencias pequeñas.

Otros materiales
Marcador de punto, aguja lanera, aguja auxiliar, bloqueadores de calcetines (opcionales).

Técnicas utilizadas
Tejer en redondo, levantar puntos, tejer circunferencias pequeñas, montaje twisted german, hacer cruces de trenza, leer diagramas de trenza y calados, coser con punto kitchener.

NOTA
Solo se incluye el diagrama para el motivo de trenzas.
