The “DOT” Christmas stocking - the ninth annual Fiddlestyx Christmas stocking design.

Inspired by the colors of the holidays, this stocking features bright red and green dots on a cream background. More red and green bobbles dangle from the cuff.
It is knit in the round from the toe up with a short-row toe and heel. Customize it with your own name or initials - alphabet charts included.

THE BASICS

• Approx. Finished Dimensions: Overall Length: 17” (43 cm) Width: 6” (15 cm)

• Pattern is written in ENGLISH and uses standard U.S. knitting terms

• Instructions are for knitting in the round on double pointed needles

• Worked from the toe up with a short-row toe and heel.

• Gauge: 24 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm)

• Approx. 210 yds (192 m) sport weight yarn main color for stocking

• Approx. 30 yds (27 m) sport weight yarn EACH of 3 contrast colors for dots and bobbles

• Set of U.S. size 4 (3.5 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• Set of U.S. size 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed needles or one size larger than gauge needle

• Crochet hook U.S. size F (3.75 mm) for provisional cast on

• Stitch markers

• Yarn needle
