This little preemie blanket is made using just a 5.0 hook and hdc stitches, making it an ideal project for anyone from a determined beginner on up.

I have included video tutorials to support the written directions as the way the first stitch of each row is worked and the direction that a completed row are turned are important to getting a nice, well-behaved edge that does not need a border.

I would love to see this done in colors other than those used in the game Dots. I think it would be particularly cute done in shades of pink (maybe with some orange and yellow) or blue.
