The Double Crossed Top is knit from the bottom up in the round in stockinette. It is the perfect beginner top, as it is an easy knit with an interesting cross strap detail on the back. The pattern includes modifications for the length of the top and the width at the top hem.

The Appendix has a version of this pattern that is totally customizable. It includes calculations so you can use any gauge and any measurements you want. Keep in mind if you use a very different gauge the drape of your top may change.
