This slouchy beret is worked from the bottom up with a simple ribbed edge. The two-stitch cables grow organically from the ribbing and then criss cross the hat in a lattice. The crown decreases are carefully placed to create an attractive shape to the crown.

The pattern is written for three sizes to ensure a great fit. Using your favourite worsted weight yarn, you can choose to make Double Crossed from the charts or full written instructions, which are included in the pattern.
