The Midwest gives us some brutally cold winters, and keeping warm is sometimes difficult. A doubled cuff on this hat was just one way to help a friend keep her ears
warm while needing to work outside during the cold and blustery winter months.

It’s a fairly simple and straightforward pattern, and works up quick. Sized for adults, it can easily be altered for other sizes. Whether one color or contrasting colors for the cuff and body of the hat, or random stripes, they’d all look great, and keep those ears warm! Maybe done in school colors for a favorite student?

FYI - It might also be welcome for your favorite first responder – I know mine sure did appreciate it.
