This multi-pocket bag is constructed by knitting two cylinders that are joined at the bottom and sides by a contrasting strip. Size after felting is approximately 16” x 10.5” x 2”.

Additional Materials

  • Stitch holder
  • Stitch marker
  • Assorted beads, 1/4” to 1/2” diameter
  • 1 pair of 8 1/2” acrylic ring handles
  • 1 skein of size 5 perle cotton and embroidery needle

Gauge is not critical to this project, and is much looser than commonly seen for this yarn. The main yarns (Cascade 220 or Nature Wool) are used doubled throughout, with addition of the accent yarn when used. The pattern calls for five skeins of Cascade 220 - three in main color and two in contrast - plus one ball di.Ve’ Black Jack and 3 skeins of Nature Wool (second main color).
