Double Diamonds Galore Scarf
It reminds me of the beautiful Aegean sea around my favorite holiday destination Rhodes Island in Greece in a lovely summer breeze. I couldn’t come up with a fitting name that was also original enough to be top of search records on Ravelry. So I asked the @byMJ Facebook gang to name it. I love how the name Double Diamonds Galore came up. Thank you @Schmoopie Joy for donating this name.

About the design, yarn stuff and more
The design of this double knitted scarf can easily be adjusted to any size as an afghan/blanket or used as base for anything else you would like to double knit.
I used 8 shades of Katia Yarn 50 Mohair Shades. This yarn comes in handy 20 gram cones.
I started out with 8 x 20 = 160 grams in total. When I was finished the scarf only weighed an astonishing 70 grams! Enough left over for another full size project!
You can use any yarn in any thickness you like. Please go up one size from the needle size suggested on the label. That way the drape of the scarf will be better. Best make a swatch though to be sure you end up with the desired size. The length of the scarf can easily be adjusted to your needs.

This Double Diamond Galore scarf was knitted from Katia 50 Mohair Shades on 4 mm needles.
Yarn: 8 shades of the same yarn or thickness.
For example: Katia Yarns 50 Mohair Shades (available in 50 lovely colors):
Col. 27, 1, 2, 4, 29, 3, 5 and 28, one cone each
