Double Florin Scarf
Double Florin scarf was made from Kauni yarn, a 100 % woolen yarn from Denmark with a
gorgeous gradient colour change but can be made from any gradient, variegated yarn or solid
coloured yarn.
Also you can use yarn in any thickness you like. Best make a swatch though to be sure you end
up with the desired size.
Yarn: Two gorgeous colours/shades of the same thickness of any yarn.
I used two Kauni colours.
1 skein each of 150 grams: 2 x 600 meters 1200 meters in total
Needles: 4 mm – 6 USA – 8 UK
Gauge: 20 stitches (each side) is 10 cm wide
Size finished scarf: 25 cm x 170 cm
If you have never double knitted before, I would suggest you watch a couple of YouTube
video’s on this method of knitting, just to get a general understanding of the technique.
Double knitting is not hard at all, just remember; as always: it’s just knit and purl.
