As a knitter, I’ve discovered a love for fingerless mitts, as they allow me the freedom and dexterity of bare fingers (crucial for holding my needles) while keeping the rest of my hands warm. As a student, I find myself knitting a lot during lectures. And as a budding scientist, I’ve found inspiration in my classes—most especially biological structures. So what was there for me to do but design something with the elegant double helix of DNA?

Don’t want elbow-length? There are instructions included to modify the pattern for 4” arms/cuffs

Errata:
1/14/2021 - Pattern was modified to “smoosh” together with Dudely Double Helix mitts, now both sold as one pattern with all sizing options present. No other changes were made.
