Double Helix is a toe-up sock pattern with Magic Loop technique instructions. Easily converted if you are a DPN fan.

The two simple cables on either side of this sock remind me of the double helix DNA strand. Knitting is in my DNA from my maternal grandmother Margaret Pearl.

Double Helix is a cabled sock with a little rib either side of the cable, this provides a fantastic snug fit which melds to your foot and stays put with no slipping while wearing. The cable adds decoration and interest to a simple sock. Cables are fun and these cables are easy to do without a cable needle. Links to helpful YouTube tutorials are included. Toe-up is my favourite way to knit to get the perfect length and fit you can try on as you go.

Any sock yarn would be perfect for these socks and most knitters should get their socks out of 100 gram of sock yarn that has 384-400 metres.
