A simple double-knit hat and earwarmer set with spouting whales. How fun is that?
Each project has “single” knit ribbing, which transitions into (and out of) the double-knit area.
Double-knitting instructions are included. The designs are charted.
A short circular needle (24” or less) and a set of double pointed needles are recommended.
Two skeins of yarn will make one hat and two earwarmers (reversing the color scheme).

Errata: On the Basic Pattern page, paragraph which begins “The design area”…should read “The design area, which covers about 20 rounds, will end about 4” from the top of the ribbing.”, instead of “from the first round of the chart.”
