This is an original design using the Double Knitting technique for the colour pattern and the extra warmth of two layers.

NOTE: - I used two yarn weights, Worsted and DK, the lighter weight DK is used for the inner layer and the heavier Worsted is used for the outer layer. This makes the inner layer slightly smaller allowing it to fit snuggly inside the outer shell.

Instructions for Double Knitting are included in the pattern. Please take the time to read the instructions especially for first timers. This is not a difficult technique, however it does take a little practice to get into the rhythm of it.

Underneath the design charts in the pattern are instructions for switching colours.
