Double-Knitted Fish Scarf
A beginner’s double-knitting scarf using the soft yarn and wild colors of the Zauberballs. Other yarns can also be used.
Gauge is mostly immaterial since it is a scarf.
Notions needed: row counter, 2 stitch markers, 6/0 seed beads, 1.1mm crochet hook.
Enjoy! The pattern is done although I am still working on knitting my own scarf. (It’s all plain double-knitting, no motifs, after the fish is done.) I’ll update the pattern pictures when it’s all finished.
You can certainly also repeat the fish motif as you go, perhaps alternating which direction it faces. I may do that. All this plain double knitting looks like it’s going to be really boring!
9/27/12: The supplemental fish design (little school of fish) has been appended to the pattern.
