This pattern is a semi/super bulky cowl that can work with any worsted weight yarn. Gauge isn’t super important as the cables tighten it up a little bit anyway. As far as the yardage goes, I had both 2 skeins of Caron Simply Soft and the Vanna’s Choice. I did not use ALL of both skeins, probably about 1.5 each.
