This crochet gift card holder uses a simple stitch pattern with alternating heights to create a fun look. Made in one piece and finished with a button, this is the perfect last-minute handmade addition to a gift card or cash gift. This pattern is part of the second annual Giftstravaganza Blog Hop.

Finished Size
Approximately 3.75” (9.5 cm) wide x 2.5” (6.5 cm) tall to fit a standard gift card.
Materials
Loops and Threads Impeccable yarn (100% acrylic, 4.5 oz/127.5 g/285 yd/260 m) – 1 skein each in White (CA) and Red Hot (CB), or approximately 30 yd (27.5 m) in each color in any medium weight yarn.
US Size H-8/5 mm crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Small button. I used a handmade button from Boutons d’Auj on Etsy. Tip: Choose sew-through buttons with holes wide enough to fit your yarn needle through.

16 sts in pattern = 3.75” (9.5 cm) across. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.
