Double Squares is a trapezoidal hap, mainly worked in garter stitch with holding two different colored threads together.

The edging features squares worked in double knitting with knitting each of the two threads separately, so the squares show one color on one side and another on the other side, which makes the hap fully reversible.

Two heavy lace weight threads are held together and knit with a large needle size which results in a large and cozy but still lightweight shawl.
