Double Take Scarf

I’ve designed a few patterns using Lion Brand Go for Faux yarn because the softness just cannot be beat. This design features the warmth of two scarves and the flexibility to customize your colors to best suit your wardrobe. Achieved with the double knitting technique, this version is much more streamlined with no need to carry both working yarns on each row.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

NEEDLES: US 13 (9.00 mm) 20” circular or double pointed knitting needles (or size to obtain gauge). Longer cord circular needles are fine as well!
YARN: Super Bulky Weight - 390 yds (356 m)
Suggested Yarn:
(A) Lion Brand Go For Faux Yarn - 100% polyester, 65 yds 3 skeins; Color used in sample: Pomeranian 322-203BS
(B) Lion Brand Go For Faux Yarn - 100% polyester, 65 yds 3 skeins; Color used in sample: Blonde Elk 322-211AN
NOTIONS: Large eye darning needle, scissors, sewing needle & coordinating color thread

FINISHED SIZE (When lying flat)
Length: 71” (180 cm)
Width (at ends): 15” (38 cm)
Width (at center): 10” (25.5 cm)

GAUGE
4” x 4” / 10 cm x 10 cm: 7.25 sts x 19 rows in double knit stitch pattern
