Double Time Cabled Hat
Are you like me and always have sock yarn in your stash? Does it overflow its bins? I know I always find myself buying it at festivals and picking up a skein here and there. It’s easy to just pick up one skein of sock yarn and think “oh I’ll find something to make with this.” But then sometimes it doesn’t knit up like I thought it would, or I just want to make something else other than socks. Don’t let your beloved sock yarn just sit in your stash and be sad. Hold it double and a whole new world of patterns becomes accessible to you.
Double Time! is a collection of patterns designed for just this purpose. All the patterns use one skein of sock yarn held double and come in a range of size. This hat features an allover rib with a few cables thrown in. It is extremely stretchy so only comes in three sizes.
Finished circumference: 9 (11, 13)” unstretched; to fit with 5-7” negative ease.
