I designed this pattern to be easy to follow and memorize, so that you can work up a full set in no time! Follow the instructions to create either a perfect fitting headband, cowl, or make a matching set! Two patterns in one! Instructions are included to easily adjust to fit any sized head!

Knowledge of front post and back post double crochet is a bonus, but it is an easy pattern to learn and follow once you know the stitch.

I suggest using Caron X Pantone, Color Made Easy, or similar bulky #5 yarn.

Size 5mm hook needed for the headband, and 6mm for the cowl.
Buttons are optional.
