Douglas
Douglas the raccoon… next in the line of little spring dumplings! He’s simply adorned here in shades of purple, but would look great in just about any combo you like… he makes use of a few different textural stitches to bring out the color changes, but is still easy enough for a beginner to handle!
Douglas is a 6 inch Raccoon (sitting). He’s crocheted together (not seamed) for extra durability, except for ear and muzzle details.
This pattern has 9 pages full of all the info any crocheter would need to make this little treasure; including technique descriptions, illustrations, and photos. I would rate this as “beginner/intermediate” , and requires only minimal embroidery skills.
Suggested materials: wool and wool blend yarn (worsted weight, at least 2- 1 colors@200 yds), polyester or natural filling, 12-14 mm glass or plastic safety eyes, and felt.
