Dovah Shawl
V2 is now available!
A reversible shawl with just the right amount of brioche stitch? Yes, please! This shawl is a great chance to combine a few colours - I like using a variegated or speckled yarn along with solid colours.
This design uses a combination of breezy garter stitch, a playful drop stitch and a meditative brioche stitch. Some experience with brioche knitting is suggested, but not necessary. The spiky border is fun to knit and easy to memorize. It inspired the name: Dovah, meaning “dragon”.
This shawl is knit from the center of the neck outwards with a fingering weight yarn. The triangle trim is knitted-on, so there is no binding off! This shawl has one size and no visible seams.
