Dovecote Hat
A cozy beret combining a bias chevron stitch pattern & lacey eyelets reminiscent of the nesting holes in old dovecote buildings. Modular trianangles along the brim allow leftover Noro or some special handspun to be the real crowning glory of this hat.
Yardage: 120+ yds/110+ m in MC, 35+ yds/32+ m of CC
Skills Required: Increases, decreases, centered double decreases, yarnovers, 1x1 Italian tubular cast on, picking up stitches from a selvedge, short rows (optional). Links to helpful tutorials at the end.
The pdf file is 3 pages long, and 605 kb in size. Pattern support is available, and I’d be happy to answer any questions you might have about the hat.
