My fourth and final Christmas sock designs… A chimney! The one and only knit piece my brother has ever requested!! I don’t normally torture myself by knitting socks for large men, but for this one, I’ll make an exception.

This sock is 3 dimensional, and the textured brick pattern is worked one color at a time, so don’t be afraid if you hate colorwork!

These socks are knit top down. The sock has a heel flap heel, which could be easily substituted if desired. These socks are wearable in slippers or low shoes.

Though these socks have a long color list, they are perfect for using bits and pieces of scrap yarn!

Recommended for folks who have knit socks before. Though instructions are written in the pattern, I am not writing why things are done, just the how to do things. This pattern is recommended for advanced or intermediate knitters. Not recommended for beginners, but beginners are certainly welcome to try!

Sizes in Pattern:
• Child’s Large/Woman’s Small (approximately women’s shoe size US 5-7)
• Woman’s Medium (approximately women’s shoe size US 7.5-9)
• Woman’s Large/Men’s Small (approximately women’s shoe size US 9.5-10)

Note about “Child’s Large”: Sizes 9-12 years will likely be size Small in the adult sizes pattern, and sizes 12+ will likely be size Medium or even Large in the pattern. This may require adjustment of the foot length, but should otherwise match the pattern’s instructions.
