Whether sledding down the slopes or snuggling up by the fire, this ribbed turtleneck is sure to keep little ones warm on those cold winter days. The sweater begins at the bottom and is worked in the round with subtle shifts in cables along the body to mimic the cascading hills of a winter wonderland. The sleeves of the sweater are ribbed as well, with extra-long cuffs folded over to complement the turned-down collar. Once the shoulders have been seamed together, the turtleneck is picked up and knit along the neckline. The careful construction of this classic sweater shape is a perfect addition to any winter wardrobe.

21 sts and 29 rows = 4 inches in stockinette on smaller needles (for reference only, swatch should be knit in 2x2 ribbing)
