DPN or Magic Loop Mini Sock

This pattern is what I use when I am teaching the introduction to beginning sock class. It has instructions for a mini sock using either the DPN or Magic Loop method, so that the student can learn the basic techniques of sock construction in a 3 hour long class. The US size 5 needles and worsted weight yarn make the project a quick one while introducing the students to basic sock terminology and pattern reading. A handy image of a sock is built into the pattern and coincides with the pattern for the visual learners in the class.
