“Dracarys”
This shawl has been created as part of my Game Of Thrones inspired collection.

For any Game Of Thrones fan, you will immediately relate the dragon shape of the shawl to its name.

To anyone else, this is a shawl designed around a dragons wing, with the name relating to a command given to each of the dragons in the series.

I wanted to create this piece as part of the collection, as for me the essence of being surrounded by the protection of a dragons wing is one of phenomenal power, security and love.

It is a large piece of work requiring four skeins of fingering weight yarn and many stitches.

Whether you see my insight to the pattern or have your own visualisation from it, I hope you enjoy making and wearing the shawl in whatever yarn colours you choose.
