Knitting Needles - Size 10.5 (6.5 mm)

Additional materials: cat litter (for stuffing)

Work flat in stockinette stitch color stripes. Felt the piece (instructions included in pattern). Sew seam to make a tube, fill with cat litter, close end to finish.

The piece can also be knit in the round on double pointed needles.

Kitty litter (try and find a kind that says ‘dustless’ or ‘low dust’). To fill with the kitty litter: Old pair of panty hose or tights, the legs need to be long enough to be able to stretch to 35 inches. The denser the tights / panty hose, the less likely your snake will be to shed dust!
