The Dragon awakening is packed with texture but open enough to be lacy. The scales that form the back give you a warm hug feeling, while the wings delicately drape without being dainty. It’s the perfect accessory to any wardrobe and every style.

This is a written pattern only, and is an intermediate difficulty - consider yourself warned! This pattern definitely has some challenging parts in a few rows and requires counting. It’s written for one size but it’s long enough for all bodies.

You can use any sport weight yarn and whichever fiber you like best. You’ll need a bit less than 918m/1,005yd for this shawl, and a 4.5mm hook, or whichever hook needed to meet gauge: 10cm/4in = 19 sts and 9 rows using dc moss stitch.
