Intermediate Skill Level

#7 (4.5 mm) DPN or circular needles

Gauge: 2 to 4 stitches and 8 rounds per inch
on #7 needles in k1, p1, ribbing

Medium Weight (Worsted) Yarn:
-110 yards for Main Color (blue in sample)
-300 yards for Contrast Color for scales and tail (pink in sample).
You may also use scrap yarn, for a great stash buster.
