Dragon Eye Stained Glass Tessellating Afghan
This pattern is meant for experienced crocheters. There are many different stitches used (some are unique, and are defined in pattern).
This pattern uses two shapes. A square and a triangle. It’s not what you have that matters, it’s what you DO with what you have. We will be using simple squares and triangles and turning them into a brilliant masterpiece. I truly hope that each of you will not follow along my exact color schemes. Rather, I would love for you to be your own artist, and paint your own masterpiece. But if you want to just use the yarn I did I have all that information for you in the pattern. I chose color changing yarn, and let the yarns do all of the heavy lifting for me.
There is no border for this afghan. I enjoyed the look without a distracting border. If, however, you choose to make a border, please keep that in mind when purchasing yarn, you will need extra to compensate for that.
This pattern comes with video links for tutorials if you are ever stuck. I have also imbedded the round numbers throughout the videos to make it easy to get to the portion of the video you may be looking for. Please do not share video links, since this is a paid pattern.
There are images at the end of the pattern to help you along as well, feel free to leave those off when printing if you would like to conserve ink.
