The Dragon Fruit One Skein Shawl is knit with Zen Yarn Garden’s Serenity Silk + lace yarn. The shawl only uses 330 yards of lace weight yarn and 186 size 6 beads. This is a great project for beginning lace knitters who are new to beading.

The Dragon Fruit Shawl is traditional triangle shawl knit from the neck to the long edge. The shawl has a knit-on border which means it’s not necessary to bind off 205+ stitches at once! The bold knit-on edging is worked back and forth over 20 stitches and a k2tog with the main body stitches every other row eliminates the large bind off stitch by stitch. This is a great shawl for beginner Lace Knitters.

Yarn One 100 gram ball of Zen Yarn Garden Dragon Fruit Serenity Silk + 75% Superwash Merino, 15% Cashmere, 10% Silk. 500 yards/ 457 meters. Total yardage: 330 yards/ 303 meters.

Gauge 22 stitches and 32 rows over 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch.
