Mermaid Scale Gloves (Fingerless)
This pdf.file contains all the steps needed to create your very own “Mermaid Scale Gloves”. A chart is provided for sizing. Three part video tutorial and links to them are provided as well for visual aid on how to start and work up your gloves. All tutorials can be found on our website www.Reservoirfibers.com .
A yarn winder is needed for you to end up with a little “cupcake” of yarn, when you’re done. But you do not necessarily need one. I just like to keep things clean and easy. This pattern calls for a 3.5mm hook, but I have tight tension. If you have loose tension you may need to drop a hook size to a 3.25mm crochet hook.

You can use a 4 ply light fingering weight but they will be heavier so you will need to sew in a stretchy band to keep them up on the arm, other wise they will fall down so your best bet is a three ply lace weight cake.
