This little dragon is in need of a hat!

(NOTE - this pattern does NOT include the frog hat shown in the images. The images are just to show how the dragon would look with a hat on. The frog hat can be purchased as part of the Spring Bat Hats pack)

This pattern is part of a new project I have created, where crochet pattern creators can collaborate and make ‘bat hats’ packs to fit my free bat pattern AND now this little dragon! As each pack is released I will make a bit of a ‘master-list’ below to keep track of them!

I (and hopefully many other pattern creators!) will be regularly releasing different paid “bat hats” pattern packs, which will include different hats for the bat or dragon to wear. These pattern packs will help to transform the bat or dragon into a ‘blind box’ item (think Smiskis, or Sonny Angels!) which will be perfect for selling at market stalls or online. All you’ll need to do is make boxes or bags for your little animals to be sold in, and include photos of the different possible hats your customers may find in their box! They would also be perfect for market stall claw machines, where customers can try to pick up the animal with the hat they want.

This pattern has both written step-by-step instructions and photos. This pattern is created for people with an intermediate level of knowledge of crochet, and requires some hand sewing. This pattern uses US crochet terms and is in English.

The images in this pattern are of dragons I made out of 4 Seasons Marvel 8ply yarn, using a 3.5mm hook.
