For Row 29 when working repeats for the thumb gusset, note that after doing the M1 you will knit to the stitch marker before slipping it and continuing with the chart. Subsequently, at the end of row 29, you will slip the stitch marker and then knit the stitches until 2 stitches remain before doing the M1, K2.
