This easy to knit shawl is made from both worsted and fingering weight yarns. I used a larger needle to make the wing membranes thin and airy. The cast on stitches will determine the outside edge of the wing as this is knit from side to side. You can use any yarn(s) or needle size to suit your whim! You can even add more triangles to make it wider or cast on more stitches to make it longer. Because of the various possibilities, I did not include a gauge. Obviously more yarn may be needed for a larger shawl.
(Minimum yarn required, 100 yds worsted, 400 yds fingering)
