This pattern is for a lace knit lap blanket. The lace pattern creates beautiful dragon scales and the blanket is surrounded by a garter stitch border. The blanket pattern is easily adjustable for custom sizing.

I left this blanket unblocked to give the scales a closer together look so there is a significant amount of stretch to the blanket. Measurements were taken with the blanket laid down unstretched.

The pattern includes both a chart and written directions for the dragon scale lace.

The blanket is designed with 100% cotton because it was originally made for my niece who has severe allergies to other yarn fibers. The yarn can easily be substituted out of another worsted weight yarn of your choice.
