For the gamer in your life who would love a Dragon Scale bag to store their dice and/or miniatures when they are off on a new adventure. This pattern gives directions for medium (~4in diameter) and large (~5in diameter) dice bags.

Materials

• Size (4) Yarn (worsted weight) in Cotton for the base of the bag - Medium Bag - about 20.5 yards / Large Bag - about 25.5 yards
• Size (4) Yarn (worsted weight) for the scales of the bag - Medium Bag - about 81 yards / Large Bag - about 106.5 yards
• Yarn to use as Cording for the Bag (you want a sturdy but still thin-ish cord to fit in the drawstring channel) - Medium Bag - 18 feet (you need 2) / Large Bag – 2 feet (you need 2)
• Crochet hook in size I (5.5mm)
• Tapestry Needle (for sewing in tails)

This bag is worked bottom up. Use your cotton yarn for the base to give it a bit more stability as it will be housing dice and/or miniatures and needs to be able to take a beating.
