Dragon Scale Shawl
Sweetness, ferocity, and warmth in one lacy package.
This top-down triangle shawl is easily resized by repeating the dragon scales section.
The pattern is both fully written out and mostly charted.
- It’s fully written out (pages 1, 4, 5, & 6): you do not need to use charts at all to make the shawl.
- It’s mostly charted (pages 1, 2, & 3): there are charts for the lace area, and written instructions for the cast-on, the bind-off, and the basic layout. If you know how top-down triangle shawls work, you could work from just the chart, and make your own decisions about the cast-on, the edges, the spine, and the bind-off.
The sample used 235yds of Dream in Color Smooshy (250yds/113g), using US8/5mm needles, with a gauge of 4 sts/in in stockinette after blocking. Finished measurements are 43” by 23”.
