I love boot cuffs in the winter as they keep my ankles and calves a bit warmer without having to wear thick socks.

This boot cuff uses the crocodile stitch and is worked in the round.

Sizes are: S – 12”, M – 14”, L – 16”, XL – 18” and are suitable for ankle boots as well as taller boots.

The gauge is worked over single crochet for the whole pattern. 100g / 270 yds. of the Picasso should be enough for the first 3 sizes but slightly short for the last. The Paintbox says it is longer and 100g / 328 yds. would be enough for all sizes. I have used both and they work up the same size wise.

I use the chainless foundation, which is explained, as it has more stretch and there are no problems with the chain binding at the edge.
