Dragon Scales is a super fun slip-stitch pattern that is easy to knit and looks great on both the right and wrong sides of the fabric.

The sample is done with hand spun teal at a DK weight and uses about 180 yards and Green Mountain Spinnery Alpaca Elegance in cream and uses about 120 yards.

The cowl is worked in the round and the unused color is carried up the inside of the work - minimizing tail weaves and making the cowl reversible with a small back “line” at the color change.

Final measurements are circumference of 23” and 9” tall.
