“Anyway, you can’t tame dragons, it’s dangerous.”
Ron Weasley, Harry Potter Series by JK Rowling

Feminine, with edge.

Inspired by the great ability of the Chinese to create balance and beauty with contrast.

This pattern weaves two dissimilar yarn colors and pattern textures to create a striking, face-framing scarf, and elegant, classy mitts. The baby alpaca yarn adds great softness, warmth and luxury.

The scarf is very long and folds over on itself; this lends it great versatility in wrapping styles.
The brocade pattern at the wrist of the mitts is worked with slip-stitching - no need to deal with 2 strands of yarn at once!

Scarf pattern: This pattern is suitable for an intermediate knitter, and a beginner or novice lace knitter. Uses 5.5 mm needles (US size 9)

Mitt pattern: This pattern is suitable for an intermediate knitter with some experience with circular knitting, and a beginner or novice lace knitter. Uses 4.5 mm double-pointed needles or Magic Loop(US size 7) - directions given for both dpns and Magic Loop.

If you only want the mitt pattern, it is available for purchase separately - also on Ravelry. Search for Dragon Fingerless Mitts.
