This cute little bag is a super fast project. They’re great for nerdy game nights as a dice bag, or as a party favor pattern for a dragon or dino themed party.

The pattern includes one body bag option with 3 back ridges & 2 tail types. Changing the type of string can easily make it a drawstring or tie option. (Drawstring is great for the party favor bags - kids can cinch them up when they’re filled and transport them!)

This pattern has been tested and is ranked adventurous beginner - there is some turning and working in non-traditional directions, basic seaming, and working in the round and flat.

The finished bag, at gauge, is 4.5” (12 cm) across the top when laid flat, and 8.5” (22 cm) from the top of the bag to the tail tip (excluding the spike). Gauge is not critical for this pattern - adjust your hook to match your yarn and get a dense fabric for holding goodies!
