This pattern was inspired by my son and his love of dragons. <3
It includes both the blanket and dragon buddy. The blanket can be made from a toddler/preschool size all the way up to adult by adding extra rows and spikes. It also turns into a backpack with a pouch for the dragon buddy!!!!

Supplies
Crochet Hook Size
10mm (P)- for blanket
4.5mm (G)- for dragon buddy
4.0mm (F)- for dragon buddy
Fiberfill for stuffing dragon buddy
Sewing Needle
Scissors
Stitch Marker
24 inches of canvas binding for blanket straps

Yarn for blanket:
Lion Brand Hometown USA in colors:
Green Bay (dark green)- 6 skeins for Preschool size. For the blanket to be longer you need approxiamtely one skein per every 8 inches.
Tampa Spice (red)
Monterey Lime (light green)
Syracuse Orange (orange) 2 skeins

Yarn for dragon:
Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice in colors:
Fern (dark green)
Cranberry (red)
Radiant Lime (light green)
Mustard (yellow)
Radiant Orange (orange)
Small amount of Black and White Yarn
