I don’t believe that this pattern should be limited by gauge. It is 320 stitches wide, 400 rows tall, and by using the 3.75 mm needles and Red Heart’s size 4 yarn, I made it come out to barely cover a full-size bed. Knitters can adjust colors, needle size, and yarn size to fit the dragon to whatever they want to.

This pattern also assumes that 3 stitches/5 rows make a square.
